Every day people get judged on their behaviour, their actions, what they say and inevitably how that makes them feel! This can often lead to conflict or relationship breakdowns as it is very common for this premature judgment to be out of alignment with the intentions of the other person. If you take the time to stop and understand the motivation behind a person’s behaviour, you will be better placed to get what you want from life
Depending upon what Personal Development books you have read in the past there are numerous different analogies used to describe the complexity of people. Whether it is icebergs or onions one thing is true, the deeper you dig, the more you peel back the layers, the more you understand what drives and motivates people.
Values are the rules individuals set for themselves that motivate them to act one way or another. They serve as a guide for human behaviour.
If you are thinking about joining our elite list of clientele, then it is important that you know the “rules of the game” we hold ourselves to and that you will be asked to follow.
Honesty
Depending on where it sits on your values list determines how you go about most things in life. Most people say they are honest but depending on the situation and the environment they are in will determine just how honest they are prepared to be. As your coach we will say it as we see it, irrelevant of how painful the truth maybe. We will become your unreasonable friend!
Integrity
Coaching is about action and results. For us integrity is about doing what you say, not over promising & under delivering. You must always act in a congruent manner with honesty, sincerity, and stand up for your beliefs whilst respecting the beliefs of others.
Respect
Begins with ‘self’ and starts with the individual. Self-respect is all about knowing your own worth as a person and treating yourself with dignity, so you can always act in a positive manner towards yourself and others. Self-belief is a very important part of personal development and is a key ingredient for success & happiness.
Balance
Work life balance is not as simple as devoting an equal amount to this and to that. It is about taking daily personal reward from 4 key quadrants, work, family, friends and self. The next step is to practice discipline and gratitude. Without the discipline to ensure all areas in your life receive attention and the gratitude to be thankful for what is in your life, BALANCE will remain out of your reach. BUSINESS should not consume you, it should be the vehicle that allows your goals to become reality.

For more than 30 years, Shayne has been helping business owners build stronger, more profitable businesses. Unlike most business coaches, Shayne has not only advised business leaders – he has personally built businesses, led large organisations as CEO, transformed struggling companies and developed high performing leadership teams across more than 30 industries.
Having coached, mentored, consulted with and led more than 100 Australian businesses, Shayne has earned a reputation for quickly identifying the real issues holding businesses back. Whether the challenge is profitability, leadership, culture, growth, succession or accountability, his ability to simplify complex business problems and create practical solutions has made him one of South Australia’s most respected business advisors.
Following seven years of service with the Royal Australian Air Force, Shayne began his business entrepreneurial journey at just 23 years of age. After building a highly successful franchise business, he was appointed State Manager for South Australia by the national franchise group. Within his first year, he doubled the group’s revenue in South Australia while increasing franchise numbers by more than 30%.
In 2005, Shayne was recruited by ActionCoach, the world’s largest business coaching organisation, to lead its South Australian team. His outstanding client results earned him Global Recognition during his first year.
After six successful years, Shayne established SA Business Coaching with one goal – to provide business owners with practical, honest advice from someone who had actually walked in their shoes. His coaching philosophy is simple: businesses grow when leaders grow, culture strengthens through accountability, and lasting success comes from implementing disciplined systems rather than chasing quick fixes.
In 2017, one of Shayne’s long-term coaching clients asked him to divide his time between coaching and becoming Chief Executive Officer of Tindo Solar, Australia’s only solar panel manufacturer. Over the next five and a half years, Shayne led one of the most significant transformations in the Australian renewable energy industry. Responsible for every aspect of the business – including manufacturing, sales, operations, finance, installation and customer service – he built Tindo into one of Australia’s strongest and most respected companies.
Under his leadership, Tindo became known for not only for commercial success, but also for developing one of the industries strongest workplace cultures. Many of the leadership principles Shayne now teaches business owners were refined while leading teams of more than 60 employees and subcontractors through periods of rapid growth and constant change.
After concluding his role as CEO in December 2022, Shayne took a short six-month break before once again being called to lead a business through significant change. He accepted the role of Change CEO for one of South Australia’s largest building companies after being approached by the brother of one of his long-term coaching clients.
Within just 3 months, Shayne identified the key operational, financial and cultural issues affecting the business and implemented a turnaround strategy that restored profitability, strengthened leadership, improved accountability and rebuilt the company’s culture.
In January 2025, Shayne and his wife Jeanette, embraced what he describes as one of the most exciting chapters of their lives by purchasing Malcolm Creek Vineyard and Cellar Door, nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. Together they have combined their passion for people, business, customer experience and premium South Australian wine to create one of the region’s most unique cellar door experiences.
Today, Shayne divides his time between mentoring a select group of long-term coaching clients while supporting Jodie, his Senior Business Coach and her clients through growth and change, and continuing to build Malcolm Creek Cellar Door into one of South Australia’s boutique wine destinations.
Business owners don’t engage SA Business Coaching because they want a friend or a motivational speaker. They work with them because they want an experienced leader who has successfully sat in the CEO’s chair, made the difficult decisions, solved real business problems and understands exactly what it takes to build a profitable business with a high-performing culture.
Married to Jeanette for over 30 years, Shayne is the proud father of Simone, Tyler, Brooke and Breeanna. Outside business, he enjoys time with his family, palying with his grandchildren, relaxing on the River Murray, boating, skiing , AFL football, keeping fit and producing exceptional wines on his Adelaide Hills property.

Jodie’s coaching journey is built on real business experience, resilience, and more than a decade of continuous mentoring under one of South Australia’s most respected business coaches.
After leaving school at just 15 years of age, Jodie began her career in hairdressing, quickly establishing a reputation for her exceptional work ethic, natural leadership and genuine ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Over the next decade she worked alongside some of Adelaide’s leading salon owners, learning firsthand what it takes to build successful businesses and high-performing teams.
In 2003, Jodie became a business owner, opening her first salon in partnership. Five years later, during the challenges of the Global Financial Crisis, she took the courageous step of opening her own independent salon. Like many business owners, she experienced the reality of long hours, staff challenges, cash flow pressures and the constant demands of trying to grow a business while maintaining a healthy personal life.
Rather than accepting that this was simply “the life of a business owner,” Jodie began searching for a better way.
In 2013, she was introduced to SA Business Coaching through one of her own clients. One conversation changed the direction of her career forever.
In January 2014, Jodie commenced mentoring with Shayne Jaenisch, Founder of SA Business Coaching. Under Shayne’s guidance, she transformed not only the performance of her business, but also the way she led people, developed systems and created accountability within her team. Through implementing proven coaching strategies, she reduced her time working in the salon from more than 60 hours per week to approximately 10 hours, while building a stronger, more profitable business.
Inspired by the impact coaching had on her own life, Jodie made the decision to become a business coach herself.
Since then, she has coached business owners across a wide range of industries, helping them improve leadership, profitability, communication, accountability and business performance. Her greatest strength is her ability to simplify complex business challenges into practical actions that business owners can immediately implement.
For more than five years, Jodie has been the first choice for new clients joining SA Business Coaching. She has earned a reputation for being authentic, honest and refreshingly direct.
